I felt silly for producing so little lately so I just decided to draw fanart the other day.

This picture is inspired by one of the original Haruhi illustrations by Itou Noiji used in one of the books. As you can see, I did something somewhat similar. I think it turned out very well. The hands and hair are a little off, and I'm sure there are other problems, too. I really like the colouring. For this one I applied a purple tint to Mikuru's shadows, which worked well. The background turned out better than I expected, especailly the water. I had a reference to help me with the colours for the sunset.
